This Temple Festival are held throughout the year. Certain days are designated for special prayers. In Bali There are thousands of temples, every week we can found the temple festival and ceremony. The Balinese are happy to offer an offering, which are a sort of tax paid to the Gods on many different occasions; the giving imposes on the gods certain obligations to perform.

These offerings may consist of pyramids of fruits, Balinese cakes, rice, flowers, money, roast chickens, and intricate contractions of cut out palm leaf.  Read the rest of this entry »
